Promising 2 year old Mister Panon made a winning transition from barrier trials to the race track on Saturday the 28th of April. After a perfect ride from stable rider Clint Harvey Mister Panon sat in the one out one back position before unleashing a powerful finishing run to destroy his rivals. The flashy son of Bearcat looks a very exciting customer and certainly a horse with a big future.

It was a real family affair on Saturday with Bob and Max Harvey, Mark and Bui Harvey and long time stable clients Bart and Kaye Venrooy owning Mister Panon. Bart and Kaye also bred the gelding from their Tribu mare Tri Ammo.

In winning Mister Panon scooped $55.000 in prize money, including $22.500 with the Westspeed Incentive Extra Scheme a very lucrative scheme for the owners after a $2200 out lay as a yearling.

Mister Panon will now head to Belmont on Saturday the 12th of May and we're sure he will prove had to beat again!
