Trial Report: Belmont 14/04/14
Apr 15, 2014
Heat 7: King Cool (Troy Turner)
Heat 7: 1000m | FP: 1st of 8 | Jockey: Troy Turner
Jumped well from b4 and was sent forward to lead, crossing to the rail in front at the 90m. Held the lead on the corner and and turned for home in front, under a good hold. Was asked for an effort when challenged at the 200m, responding well to hold and win this heat by 0.8L.
King Cool is ready for the races now after comfortably winning his second trial at Belmont on Monday. We received a great report from jockey Troy Turner following the trial and he believes the horse still has plenty of improvement left in him.
We will more than likely head towards the Westspeed 2YO Handicap (1000m) at the opening Belmont meeting on Saturday May 3.

Heat 17: Noble Finale (Clint Harvey)
Heat 17: 1000m | FP: 6th of 8 | Jockey: Clint Harvey
Jumped well from b5 and was allowed to find her feet early, dropping in behind heels to settle 5th (2-wide). Improved her position on the corner and appeared full of running when 4th (3-wide) turning for home. Angled outside heels at the top of the straight but failed to accelerate, working to the line evenly to finish 6th beaten 7.8L.
Noble Finale traveled into the trial nicely on the turn but when the pressure went on in the straight she was unable to compete. It was similar to her previous race and trial performances and strongly suggests she has not improved this time in work.
Noble Finale has now come to the end of her current preparation with our stable.
