Trial Report: Lark Hill 7/04/14
Apr 08, 2014
Heat 3: King Cool (Troy Turner)
Heat 3: 450m | FP: 1st of 4 | Jockey: Troy Turner
Jumped away fairly well and showed good gate speed to lead early, and lengthened stride nicely when asked for an effort at the 200m. Worked to the line well to win this heat by a neck.
We were very pleased with King Cool's trial performance yesterday and he has pulled up in good order today. Jockey Troy Turner provided us with some positive feedback and was impressed with the way he stretched out over the final 200m.
We are now planning on trialing King Cool over 1000m at Belmont next Monday and another strong showing there will see him head to the races soon after.

Heat 15: Noble Finale (Chanelle O'Grady)
Heat 15: 950m | FP: 5th of 6 | Jockey: Chanelle O'Grady
Slowly away and beaten for speed early when settling 5th (rail) in this fast-paced trial. Held a similar position on the corner and was under a hold when 5th (rail) turning for home. Gained a rails run at the top of the straight and was asked for an effort, but failed to quicken and worked to the line only evenly to finish 5th beaten 8.8L.
We were disappointed with Noble Finale's efforts in her trial yesterday as she was unable to make up any ground in the straight, despite enjoying a relatively soft run off the speed throughout.
We will trial her again over 1000m at Belmont next Monday and will assess her future with connections following that outing.
