Regally bred mare Premardal made a return to the winners stall on Saturday winning the listed Jungle Dawn Classic, a race she won the previous year.

In a dominant display the class act jumped from her wide barrier draw 12 like a rocket and champion hoop Paul Harvey guided her to the lead, she coasted along and at the point of the turn the Pontiff booted her clear of runner up Even Astar.  Premardal under her heavy impost of 58.5 kgs held on to win by 3/4 of a length.

This was her 5th career win and 3rd at stakes level and takes her earnings to $288.000.

Congratulations to her winning owners Jeff Mcglinn and Shane Renfree. Premardal will now head towards the Starstruck Classic on the Saturday the 17th of December, but a start will all depend on the weight the Handicapper deals her.
