Super consistent galloper and stable favorite Silver Minx has gone from notorious non winner to impressive cup winner.

On Saturday the 12th of October Harvey Racing traveled east to Moora for the annual Moora Cup meeting, and a profitable trip it was! Silver Minx stormed to a 4.5 length win in the famed Moora Cup.

Jockey Willie White rode Silver Minx in confident fashion taking him straight to the leading position. Silver Minx made every post a winner right to the finish line to score in devastating fashion!

It was a great result for Willie who is an important part of the Harvey Racing team as one of our hard working track riders. So we were very happy to reward Willie with a winning mount.

It was a special day out for the Harvey family with Rob, Bob, Larry and Clint Harvey all making the trip to Moora. Larry and Clint had previously won the Moora Cup with former top class racehorse Prince Of Pop in 1998! Bob and Rob Harvey could only manage 2nd place in the Moora Cup with Yonga Lad in 1967! (a few years ago!). Clint Harvey strapped Silver Minx at Moora so he now has the bragging rights of not only riding a Moora Cup winner but strapping one too!

Give The Signal also made the trip to Moora and ran a very good second in the 1200m maiden. So it was a fantastic day had by all and one can only imagine the truck ride home with the Harvey boys!

Congratulations to winning owner Gail Harvey who leases Silver Minx from breeders Lex and Shirley Piper.
