Todd has just returned from Sydney where he attended the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale.

The sale commenced on Sunday the 22nd of January and continued on the Monday and Tuesday. Some 570 yearlings passed through the famed Newmarket ring and leading trainers, owners and agents were represented.

Harvey Racing were able to secure lot 263 an outstanding Savabeel Colt from the Marscay mare Belong In Love. This outstanding colt is great type and has a Group 1 pedigree to match!!

Savabeel needs no introduction a champion 3 year old by champion sire of sires Zabeel, he won the MVRC Cox Plate G1 and went on to run 2nd to Western Australia's own Plastered in the VRC Derby in 2004. He really was an outstanding racehorse! At stud Savabeel's progeny are on fire with last seasons VRC Derby G1 hero Sangster flying the flag. His fillies are also doing the job in classic races with Scarlett Lady winning the 2010 Queensland Oaks G1 in dominant style, and last seasons G1 VRC Oaks  runner up Dowager Queen also a stakes winner. Savabeel is the sire of 175 runners for 104 winners and 11 stakes winners, He truly is a group 1 sire with the world at his feet!!

The Colt's dam Belong In love is by champion broodmare sire Marscay. Belong In Love is a half sister to the outstanding filly With Me a group1 winner of the VATC Oakleigh Plate G1, With Me was top of the 1990-91 3 year old Australasian Classification and a winner of 1.35 million dollars. Accomplice a son of With Me is also a dual group1 winner of 11 races including the BTC Doomben Ten Thousand G1 and the AJC Galaxy Handicap G1!!

Another half sister to Belong In Love is Gypsy Alert a 10 time winner and producer of group 3 winners Alert Me and Techniques. Belong In Love is the dam of 3 foals to race for 2 multiple winners and a place getter this season.

This Colt's pedigree really is outstanding and with his quality looks will be an welcome addition to Harvey Racing's arsenal!!
