Classy Blackfriars gelding Black Sabbath was dominant in his Belmont Park trial on Monday the 6th of May. He came from just off the speed to score a comfortable win in slick time. The strapping gelding is unbeaten in trials this campaign and is looking a more mature and stronger galloper now as a late three year old.

Black Sabbath had a luckless summer campaign with horror barrier draws but ran very competitive races in top company. From seven starts he has won twice with and run three minor placings for $212k in prize money. He is shaping up very well for a successful campaign and will return to the race track at Ascot on May 18th the last meeting before racing returns to Belmont Park.
