Two-year-old Apparition put in an eye-catching second up run on Saturday at Belmont in the D’orsogna Plate over 1300m.

Troy Turner gave the youngster a peach run as the pair ran on into third place behind Kelly’s Callisto, beaten two-and-a-quarter lengths.

The winner of the race has form around fellow Harvey Racing, unbeaten, juvenile Black Sabbath, adding merit to the performance of Apparition.

The son of My Admiration is now into his second preparation and has three career runs for two thirds.
